Meisterschaft Motor recommends these tires at a step up from the Toyo Proxes RA-1's for more serious and demanding track use.  These tires do require more heat up time on the track before reaching their optimal grip.   The break away characteristic is more abrupt compared to the RA-1's as the Hoosier tires offer a higher level of ultimate grip.  These tires are a step up from the Toyo as driver experience matures.  These tires offer the best grip in the DOT R-compound category before going to non-DOT full race slicks.
